I am Dr. Obiajulu "Obi" Onuora, everyone calls me “Dr Obi” I grew up in Nigeria and the United States.
I got my Dental Degree from the University of Minnesota. After getting my dental degree, I completed a General Practice Residency in Kings County Hospital, Brooklyn New York.
I practiced as a general dentist in Brooklyn New York for 3 years. My love for creating smiles pushed me to pursue an advanced education in Orthodontics. I got accepted and graduated from the orthodontic specialty program of Jacksonville University, Florida.
In order to achieve excellence in and to give my patients the very best Orthodontics has to offer I got my board certification with the American Board of Orthodontics.
I have practiced in Florida, New Mexico and Texas. I have seen, treated and created hundreds of lovely smiles using my combined knowledge of general dentistry and orthodontics. I believe that all my patients should see themselves more than just patients but as partners with me, having a thorough understanding of their treatment plan and participate actively throughout their journey, so together we achieve the aim of having a lovely smile.
I belong to the American Association of orthodontics (AAO) and am a Diplomate of the college of the American Board of Orthodontics (CDABO).
In my leisure, I read books, play chess and am a comic book collector. I am an avid soccer fan both playing and watching the sport.
