Dr. Krystle Johnson is a graduate of Spelman College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and studied aboard in Argentina. She went on to attend Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry and received her Master of Health Science and Doctorate of Dental Surgery degrees.
She has a passion for helping people from all walks of life. Her mission is to inspire self confidence in others with no judgement, encourage and uplift her patients through dental care. Her desire to make a positive impact on the Memphis community and her passion for fixing the smiles of patients and helping them get a better quality of life is what led her into the dental profession.
Dr. Johnson grew up in the military, with her dad who was a Colonel in the United States Air Force, mother was a geography teacher, and younger sister (who is a veterinarian). As a military child, she has lived and gone to school in Italy and traveled to several countries in Europe, Japan, lived in Hawaii and Las Vegas where she graduated from high school. She met her husband, Dr. Jermaine Johnson, while volunteering to rebuild the lower 9th ward after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. When Dr. Johnson is not working, she is exercising, traveling, playing piano, arts and crafts, teaching, involved in community service, and going to church.
